The Reede Scholars, Inc., incorporated in 2010, is a culturally, socially, politically, and professionally diverse group of physicians, dentists, and mental health professionals who are the combined graduates of the Commonwealth Fund/Harvard University Minority Health Policy Fellowship, the California Endowment Scholars in Health Policy, and the Joseph L. Henry Oral Health Fellowship Program at Harvard Medical School. These Fellowship programs are under the direction of Dr. Joan Reede, Dean for Diversity and Community Partnerships, Harvard Medical School.
Collectively, we possess decades of leadership in the health equity space. We are advocates and change agents, by training and experiences. We are clinicians, researchers, health care executives and administrators, policymakers and healthcare payors, academicians and academic leaders, professors and deans, mentors, innovators, and dream makers, nationally and internationally. We understand and respect the social determinants of health and health care, as well as, the impact of generational social injustices.
