Bhatt, Jay: Jay Bhatt, DO, MPH

Jay Bhatt, DO, MPH, is an internal medicine physician who most recently completed a residency and clinical fellowship at Cambridge Health Alliance/Harvard Medical School in Cambridge, MA. During 2005-2006, he was a Legislative Fellow for Congresswoman Donna Christensen, providing support on The Healthcare Equity and Accountability Act of 2005. In 2006-07 he served as the National President of the American Medical Student Association and currently Chair-Elect of the ACP Council of Associates. Dr. Bhatt is interested in innovation in community health delivery and chronic disease management/prevention. He led the development of the AMSA PharmFree Scorecard. In 2008, Dr. Bhatt received both his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, and his Master in Public Health degree from the University of Illinois, Chicago School of Public Health. He is currently a Masters in Public Administration candidate at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government.
